The students of the 16YP batch are proud to present this year's "APSOC WEEK 2023: Our Asia Pacific Bubble," on the week of May 8-12! The University annually observes APSOC Week with students from APS011 spearheading and driving the events of the week. By celebrating APSOC WEEK, students are afforded an opportunity to put a spotlight on the cultures and societies of the Asia Pacific region so that it can be better known and given attention by the UA&P community.

In this event, one chosen person from the team and the participant will exchange Asia-Pacific themed jokes to one another. The object of the game is to make the other person laugh. Whoever laughs has to pick out a punishment from the “Bucket of DOOM!”, which the person will have to carry out. These punishments vary in severity, ranging from easy, moderate, hard, and EXTREME! With respect to the prizes, everyone who participates will receive a small handful of treats (sweets) as a participation prize. However, participants are given the chance to fight for the GRAND PRIZE!, which is P5, 000 paid in cash. To win this, the participants must tell ONE Asia-Pacific themed joke, which must make all 5 members of the group laugh. Participants will only have one attempt in doing so.
